Workshop Course description
Instructor: Charles Papert, SOC.   Coordinator and assistant instructor: David Allen Grove,SOC

Location:  Mole-Richardson Stage, Hollywood. (no visitors are allowed.)

Date:   November 6 & 7, 2008

(includes excellent instruction, Actors, Stage w/lights, lunch and crafty items,membership into the Steadicam Guild at the end of the workshop)

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

Your personal rig.
Practice camera with XLR inputs; must be capable of recording sound and picture, preferably on DV, plus tape and fully charged
batteries (and charger) for same.
Video transmitter (if not UHF/VHF, also provide a receiver for use with external monitor)
Appropriate clothing for both interior and exterior work.

MEALS:
Lunch will be provided each day. There will be drinks and snacks available throughout.
Please let us know if you have dietary restrictions or preferences.


INSURANCE:

Students are required to have their own equipment insurance. The Steadicam Guild does not carry equipment insurance. Students
assume full risk to their personal equipment as well as themselves. So please be careful. By attending the workshop you agree to this
and will not hold the Steadicam Guild, the instructors or the organizers liable for any damage done to your equipment or person.

STEADICAM GUILD MEMBERSHIP:

Students that complete the Operator's Master Class will become members of the Steadicam guild immediately after the workshop.

Your name and link to your IMDB listing or website will be posted on the Roster section of the Steadicam Guild website along with
other top Steadicam Operators from around the world. You will also have access to the Steadicam Guild Forum which is only
accessible to Steadicam  Guild members.
