American Society of Cinematographers - The ASC is not a labor union or guild, but is an educational, cultural
and professional organization. Membership is possible by invitation and is extended only to directors of
photography with distinguished credits in the industry.  For more than 85 years, the Society has remained true
to its ideals: loyalty, progress and artistry. Reverence for the past and a commitment to the future have made a
potent and lasting combination in a world of shifting values and uncertain motives.

Camera Guild Local 600 -The International Cinematographers Guild represents the most talented camera
professionals in the world. The technicians and artisans in our union are the creators of the visual images on
the big screen, the television screen and - as we move into the 21st century - our computer screen.

Society of Camera Operators - The Society of Camera Operators, formed in 1978, is an honorary organization
composed of several hundred men and women internationally, of outstanding and dedicated talent, who make
their living operating film and/or video cameras in the cinematic media. Our motto is: "We see it first!"

Steadicam Operators Association  - The Steadicam Operators Association (SOA) was formed by Garrett Brown,
the inventor of the Steadicam, and Nicola Pecorini in 1988 to connect skilled  Steadicam Operators with motion
    picture directors and producers.
