The Cost of Hiring a Steadicam Operator with Equipment:


                         *Operator Hourly rate:
  • Rates can vary greatly from show to show, low end to high end but Professional Steadicam Operators
                                                                                           can charge anywhere from $70 to $150+ per hour up to 8 hours straight time.
  • Minimum 10 hour day guarantee.
                                               
                                               *Equipment Rental:  
  • $900 to $1,500 per day and more depending on equipment owned and level show.
  • If the operator is generous, he/she MAY offer a weekly rate on equipment but they do not offer
                                                                                            prorating on weekly rentals because the weekly is already a discount.
